Jean-François Pauléat

Jean-François Pauléat

musician - composer - arranger - author

A musician with eclectic tastes, a recorder player who also plays whistles, Jean-François Pauléat completed the majority of his musical studies at the CRR (Regional Conservatory) of Rueil-Malmaison (92). At a young age, he distinguished himself by creating his own amateur instrumental ensemble and honing his skills in arranging, composing, and conducting. A passionate musician, Jean-François Pauléat arranges all kinds of music—classical, traditional, and contemporary—when he isn't composing them himself, much to the delight of the musicians with whom he shares the stage.

Involved with the "Orchestra at School" program since 2009, he joined the association as an arranger in 2021. He also teaches at the CAP Atlantique Conservatory (44).

To date, he has written 127 pieces in various styles and for a wide range of ensembles. Several of his works have been published by profs-édition.com, Partition-Pour, w48-music, IMD-Arpèges, and Delatour-France.

Since 2021, he has self-published his musical tales (book-CDs and audio albums) in collaboration with Marion Baborier under the name Les Hibouttes.
